Timothy A. Ballard, AIA, LEED AP
Principal
Transformative architecture comes from a dedicated process; one that defines a journey that takes the architect and the client to new places. Envisioning, managing, directing and generally cajoling the most out of this process is what we do best. It empowers our clients to join us in creating buildings and places that make a difference in the world.
For the past 35 years, Tim has focused on integrating the planning, performance, design and construction of buildings into a seamless whole. With strong foundational skills in engineering and construction, and a passion for scientific thought, he brings a wealth of both practical and theoretical experience to every endeavor. Tim’s expertise in working with a wide range of delivery systems is particularly valuable in getting projects built. Lease-leaseback, design-build, CM Multi-prime and design-bid-build are some of the successful approaches Tim has used. His focus on project execution and client satisfaction has resulted in client relationships lasting ten years or more. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Sciences degree from Harvard University and a Master of Architecture degree from UC Berkeley. “Transformative architecture comes from a dedicated process; one that defines a journey that takes the architect and the client to new places.
