Ron is a national leader in higher education design, planning, and residential life, recognized for innovative and sustainable solutions that enrich the social and academic experience of students across the country. He has focused his career on understanding and defining the connection between students’ environments, academic performance, and sense of personal wellness. His projects have garnered more than 30 design awards—demonstrating the power of architecture to produce live/learn communities that become integral to their institutions. Ron actively shares his knowledge through seminars, presentations, and publications, and involvement in the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I), Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), and Student Housing Business Inc.
