Enumclaw High School

Enumclaw School District

Enumclaw, Washington

Enumclaw High School recently completed a multi-phased modernization and 25-classroom addition project, which provides their 1,400 student body a more secure school with modern, updated amenities. Multiple detached buildings and portables have been transformed into a safe, unified campus.

The design of the addition focused on creating high-impact student areas that provided more opportunities for students to connect and collaborate. Nearly 50 classrooms are housed in two new wings that extend from the existing commons area, which opens to a central courtyard where students can eat their lunches, socialize, and hold school events. A series of university-style shared science labs will allow multiple science classes to utilize the lab facilities simultaneously.

At last month’s ribbon cutting for the addition, the school community showed up in full force to celebrate and explore their new space. This project was the successful result of our ongoing collaboration with the contractor, the Enumclaw School District, and a variety of stakeholders to create a state-of-the-art facility that staff, students, and their families are proud of.

Check out the grand opening, and hear from District Superintendent Mike Nelson and other members of the project team in our short video below:
