A comprehensive middle school designed for 850 students, the new 119,500 square-foot facility clusters academic spaces to form separate sixth, seventh, and eighth grade learning areas. The design facilitates an integrative and exploratory curriculum that implements multiple learning and teaching strategies, facilitating 21st century education. Flexibility will allow the district to implement STEM program elements throughout its middle school programs in the future. Career and Technical Education Programs provide students with exposure to potential careers in related fields. Sensible sustainable features such as natural daylighting, and efficient mechanical and electrical systems are combined with safety, security and transparency to provide students with an environment that can support all learning modalities.
