The new 54,000-square-foot Falls Gateway Building defines the west edge of the campus’s central quad and the south edge of the primary pedestrian circulation route through campus. The building is designed as two perpendicular, contrasting wings respecting these differing conditions. A dominant classroom wing of glass, concrete and metal panel parallels the pedestrian walk, visually connecting the building's interior teaching and learning environments with the rest of the campus. A contrasting, primarily brick wing houses the campus administration, staff offices, a tutoring center and counseling center. The east façade of this more traditional brick architecture defines the west edge of the campus quad.
The new building achieved LEED Silver.
