The project includes a 22,070 square-foot, stand-alone addition with a promenade to access the new grandstands, new artificial turf field, new track, new field event layout and athletic support buildings. Other site improvements consist of new tennis courts and expansion of parking. The classroom addition was strategically located to complete the school's central courtyard and ensure that the building becomes an extension of the existing campus while creating a connection between campus and the new athletic facilities. Science labs, the sports medicine program, digital photography, and resource classrooms surround a centralized breakout space at the entry to the new addition. The sports medicine training lab is intentionally located near adjacent athletic facilities to serve a dual purpose as a learning space and as an athletic training room.
