Antonio Maria Lugo Academy
Aspire Public School
Huntington Park, California
Last month marked the A4LE Southwest Region’s first annual Southern California Chapter Awards Program for School Planning and Architecture. We are thrilled that two of the five awards given that evening were for NAC projects.
We received an Award of Merit for Aspire Public School’s Antonio Maria Lugo Academy, which required extensive teamwork and collaboration to meet a concentrated schedule and significant funding restraints.
We were then presented with the Award of Excellence for Los Angeles Unified School District’s Playa Vista Elementary School. The project was recognized for its bright and cheerful learning environment full of daylight and natural ventilation, as well as the integrated and advanced sustainability agenda achieving a LEED Platinum certification.
We are honored to be recognized by a jury of our clients and peers for NAC’s ongoing commitment to creating innovative, sustainable learning environments. Read more about the awards program and other winners.
